Repairs, Rentals and Image Recovery

Equipment Repair

A quick diagnosis and description of your malfunctioning photographic equipment will determine the extent of your repair. Some repairs are done in-house with a $60 per hour repair fee.

If deemed necessary to send in your equipment for a repair estimate, there is a $20-$30 shipping charge. You will be called with an estimate usually in less than one week. If the estimate is approved, the repair is prepaid and returned repaired to you as soon as possible, generally 2-3 weeks.

Sensor Cleaning

If you are noticing spots on each of your digital images in the same area, bring us your camera and we are able to clean your digital sensor. Crop sensor DSLRs are $40 and Full Frame DSLRs are $60. Time allowed for sensor cleaning is generally 2 days.

Equipment Rental

Wide angle, macro, f2.8 lenses and telephoto zoom lenses in Canon and Nikon mounts are available for rental. Entry level digital SLRs are also available for rent. Rental fees may be applied to new equipment purchase within 3 months. This is a great way to 'try before you buy'.

Image Recovery

Do not despair if you think you have lost your digital images due to an unfortunate formatting mistake or a camera or media card error. We are able to run Image Recovery software on your digital media card and 95% of the time (notice we did not say 100%) we can locate and copy your lost images to a jump drive, cd or dvd depending on the total size of the recovery.
